In the rescue's own words
This sweet 1.5-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix has already been through more than most dogs experience in a lifetime. After being locked out and left to survive on the streets for months in the rain, cold, and hunger, Anna was finally rescued thanks to a kind lady who fed her and advocated until All Mixed Up Dog Rescue stepped in.
Anna is still a bit shy and timid as she learns to trust again, but under that uncertainty is a fantastic, gentle girl just waiting to bloom. She’s house trained, crate trained (sleeps quietly in her kennel), spayed, vaccinated, and medium-sized (26–60 lbs).
Anna’s perfect home would include:
* Another friendly dog to help boost her confidence
* A patient person (or family) with time to work with her gently
* Teens or older kids (she may be overwhelmed by very young children)
* Probably great with cats too with a proper introduction
