In the rescue's own words
Bebop is an 8-pound small-breed mix, about a year and a half old, currently thriving in a foster home and ready for her person. She is the definition of a lap dog. Bebop wants to be with her person all the time. She has a lovely, playful temperament and is not fazed by other pets. She lives well with her foster dog and shows little interest in the cat. On walks she is a pro: traffic, loud noises, and vehicles don’t rattle her. She loves playing with other dogs and tearing around with zoomies. Car rides go well too—especially if she can ride in someone’s lap. Left loose in the car, she will wander and explore. She can be a little more cautious around men at first and may bark, then she settles and will happily sit in their lap. She is still quite thin (though she is starting to put on weight) and is very protective of her food and snacks, so meals and treats should be managed carefully. She is not a fan of being crated or left confined by herself and has some separation anxiety. The right home is one that can take her along through the day. If you want a small companion who will go everywhere with you, Bebop is a strong match. Apply to adopt her at https://www.strayrescue.org/. Please share this post so Bebop can find her furever home.

How this works

Herba Re-Leaf is not a shelter, a rescue, or a placement agent. We do not house, foster, transport, evaluate, or place dogs, and we have no role in deciding who adopts them.

Every dog on this page belongs to an independent rescue organization. All applications, screening, home checks, fees, and adoptions go through that rescue, on the rescue's own website and under the rescue's own terms.

Descriptions, photos, and availability come from the rescues themselves. We reproduce them as given and cannot confirm they are current. Contact the rescue directly with any question about a dog.
