Hops are primarily used in beer to add bitterness and aroma, as well as being used as a preservative.
They are used in numerous other beverages for medicinal purposes.
Hops are in the same family as hemp and marijuana.
Because we don’t boil our Golden Standard the hops never achieve their bitter properties, which keeps them at a state of more flavoring and preservation.
Using hops is an industry advancement! Colliding two extremely different worlds in an extraordinary way! Let me explain:
Hops have been tested (not FDA approved tests) where 30 students drank non-alcoholic hop water with dinner (2-16oz drinks) and 30 other students did not. The students that did, during a 30 day study, reported to have less stress and less of other aliments found in this study- https://www.verywellhealth.com/the-health-benefits-of-hops-89058. The essential oils (terpenes) found in hops are used highly with medicinal beverages.
Coming from an alcoholic, ive been sober now for 5 years, this product brings the refreshment of a hoppy brew without the guilt of consequences of the “real” thing. It also has the same exact properties that our beloved Golden Standard has with a hoppy kick and smooth fruit note at the end.
Grab some ice, grab some sparkling water and pour your Golden Sunrise and enjoy the Horizon.
Bula!
