Pecan pie is one of my favorite desserts during this time of year. I just had to find a way to incorporate it into an Herba kava shake! The result was a deliciously indulgent treat, perfect for celebrating the holidays.
Recipe:
Butter Pecan ice cream
Small slice of pecan pie
Splash of heavy cream (can use milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc)
5 Grams of Herba Re-Leaf’s Poly Gold Kava Extract
Caramel sauce (for inside your cup)
Whipped cream
Chopped pecans
(Optional but highly suggested) extra slice of pie on top
To Make:
- Add butter pecan ice cream, a small slice of pecan pie, a splash of your milk of choice, and poly gold kava extract to the blender
- Cover and blend to desired thickness. If you’d prefer a ‘thinner’ milkshake, simply add a little more milk & blend again!
- Swirl caramel in your glass & pour your shake
- Add whipped cream and chopped pecans to top it off
- For some extra tastiness, add another small piece of pie to the top
- Enjoy! Don’t forget your spoon!
